I stumbled upon this pack in Teufort last week. While the thought of actually trying
them is quite terrifying (I'd like my lungs to serve me faithfully for as long as they
possibly can), I must admit the packaging is far more interesting than most of the
cigarettes I've seen in local stores. So, it's worth a risk.
Packaging
I don't expect much from the brand itself, but I must say the packaging is appealing —
one of the few interesting non-minimalist designs available. Ironically, they don't use
blue much. However, the bright colors and detailed design unfortunately give it a
rather cheap appearance. The material is nothing special, smooth and unremarkable. And
the holder, as expected, is made of some flimsy paper. Annoying, but not surprising.
Expectations
If I had to guess the taste of these cigarettes, I'd anticipate a sweet tobacco flavor,
perhaps with a hint of citrus or vanilla undertone. I truly don't expect much from these,
so I'd say the quality will be either average or slightly below. That said, I wouldn't
be surprised to encounter the taste of cheap paper or a low-quality filter. As for the
draw, I expect something medium with a touch of airiness.
Look, smell
Judging by the appearance of the cigarette, I'd say the quality is rather good. The paper
is certainly not the cheapest. There's a faint line marking the filter, barely noticeable.
I assure you, this is not due to any flaw in my eyesight.
The aroma is amazing, sweet and creamy with distinct citrus notes, just as I had
anticipated. While there are no hints of honey, it's just a minor disappointment. Overall,
this is precisely what I expected, and I must say, I'm satisfied.
Body, draw
The body is decently sized, not overly bold, but satisfying enough for casual enjoyment. I
did not expect more from it. As for the draw, it's a bit airy. Each inhale is quite
effortless, the cigarette was truly designed with ease over intensity in mind. Of course,
it may lack the density that some might prefer, but it makes for a rather relaxed
experience.
Final thoughts
This is amazing, I love it. Not the best cigarettes I have ever had, but they're perfectly
fine for what they are. It's nothing extraordinary, but it's quite enjoyable. Perhaps I
will stick with these for a while, though likely not for long. I can't say I entirely trust
the brand.
